The project will deliver the following shorter-term outcomes:
Increased collaboration and effective knowledge generation and sharing between various actors engaged in water management and governance through mobilities, teaching module development and 2 train-the-trainers courses (ToT)
Strengthened capacities through 6 summer schools
Improved research on water-related issues in LCB and ASB through published academic papers.
When it comes to long-term outcomes the project will achieve that:
The knowledgebase and knowledge-sharing is designed to address the local challenges in LCB and ASB more effectively
The capacities are strengthened for more sustainable governance and management of LCB and ASB
The research activities are enhanced and to be continued to further examine the water-related issues in the LCB and ASB regions.
Summer schools alumni will be able to create a network to facilitate future collaboration and exchange of experience gathered from ASB and LCB.
